Sixteen original floral designs (including 4 new roses), birdies (hooty owls, a cardinal, blue jay, lovebirds) and other outdoor delights (a little hedgehog, a ladybug, a little worm) are easily stitched with mostly Lola and Iris and new techniques for familiar dimensional stitches.

Olde English Rose petals are made with Millefiori’s original, easy drizzle technique known as “Archie R. A. Drizzle” – or in Latin: Archiara drizzle.  Automatic Couching fills the design with fine growth, and sparkling beads dust the rose petals. “Light as air” leaves are stitched with Fishbone or Fly Stitch.

Millefiori’s famous 22-Stitch* Hummer (*Give-or-Take A Stitch) features five different hummingbirds hovering over lunch, the fragrant Trumpet Honeysuckle. Select same dye lots of Nova and Lola for the flowers. Metallic threads and beads or Glory may be used to stitch the little hummers.

This rustic covered bridge highlights a country scene in denim blues and rustic reds with Brazilian dimensional embroidery in mostly lighter weights of EdMar’s 100% rayon floss. Simple, elegant stitches complete the Glory background. Foreground flowers are stitched with heavier floss.  

Designed as a companion print to Millefiori designs #8004 "Crystal Springs" and #817 “The Waterlilies of Claude Monet”, this print includes a great blue heron and a tiny green frog, both checking the breakfast menu (and each other) while you stitch. This design is available on medium blue fabric only. Intermediate Level.

The Keeper of the Wings loves caladiums. This littlest of angels is stitched entirely in Glory with very simple stitches. Stitch suggestions for lots of different hair styles will keep stitchers entertained. This design is suitable for an ornament or small frame.

Inspired by the impressionist art of Claude Monet, the French landscape painter who immortalized his flower and water gardens at Giverny, France, at the turn of the last century, this design features the original version of the JDR “Water Lily” design (#124) and favorite designs from Barbara Demke Johnson’s book, Brazilian Embroidery Instructions. 

Designed as a companion print to Millefiori #842 “Covered Bridge”, this design is available on medium blue fabric only. Intermediate Level. A new Millefiori design #8004 “Crystal Springs” completes the trio of companion prints.
