This design is available as a .pdf file only. Included is a traceable pattern with detailed instructions. The Fritillaria is the beautiful Crown Imperial; we’ve named ours Larry Fritillaria. There is also a family of butterflies knows as the fritillaries. Our butterfly has captured the name of Moe Fritillary. The little caterpillar is Curly. Have fun stitching the Fritillaries - Larry, Moe and Curly!

A new stitch technique is used for both leaves and flower petals – the LazyMan’s Drizzle – a drizzle made with the needle still threaded.  The Lazy Drizzle Bullion is the flower center, and the Rosette Chain (a Twisted Lazy Daisy variation) gives the impression of additional background leaves and flower petals.
